Clare O'Hara with an interesting look into the ongoing problems the big Canadian banks are facing when it comes to the sales targets and how employees are evaluated at the banks.

I was visiting a client yesterday - they were dog sitting and told me to put my shoes on their hutch or else the dog will run off with them. She wouldn't chew the shoes, I was told, just move them around the house. The client told me that their owner's suggestion was that if the shoes were taken, trade something with the dog (a toy or treat). The client laughed, 'I think the dog just found a way to get more treats'.

More shoes moved = more treats.

Dogs understand cause and effect.

Banks do too.

Find out how banks sales incentives can brush customers best interests to the side in favour of the career goals of the employees and their superiors.
